Basket Weaving with Bev Larson

Bev Larson is an Indiana Artisan and will be teaching how to make an Irish knitting basket. She was

born in Indiana and has stayed a Hoosier. She has been making beautiful baskets for several

years and in 2006, she took a class in broom making and added that to her work. You will learn fundamental weaving techniques to craft this stunning, functional basket originating in Ireland. Using a combination of natural and dyed materials, you will explore structural weaving, decorative accents, and practical applications of this traditional craft. All the supplies will be provided.

Beth Sheets will provide soup and/or sandwiches. Everyone else can bring a dish that can be shared. Come and enjoy the fellowship.
